Chocolate Plants

With the right manufacturing plants it is possible to make the widest variety of products from chocolate. WDS plants enable you to produce an almost infinite combination of shapes, fillings and colours.

  • Hygienic and Compact design for fast change-overs
  • For mould sizes from – 425 x 275mm
  • For solid chocolate, 1 shot and triple shot chocolates
  • Also suitable for jellies
  • Continuously chain driven. Throughput: up to 39 moulds/minute
  • Intermittent version available for lower throughputs
  • Vertical and horizontal layouts possible
  • Spinning plant version available. Spinning in a cooler for 6 – 8 minutes then in to a subsequent cooler
  • Multi piston volumetric depositors with rotary valves or sliding valves.

Starchless Plants

  • For deposited (not formed) hard candy, toffee, fondant and jellies – filled and un-filled
  • Continuous motion – high speed for high capacities
  • Intermittent motion version available for jellies
  • Throughputs:
    • For deposited hard candy up to 50 moulds/minute, from 500 kg/h to 2,500 kg/h
    • For toffee/fondant up to 45 moulds/minute
    • For jellies up to 30 moulds/minute intermittent motion
  • With automatic mould changing – aluminium moulds with springs for hard candy or silicon rubber moulds for toffee, fondant and jellies
  • Serpentine cooling section – typically 20 minutes residence time for Fondant and jellies, 30 minutes for toffee
  • Non-regimented de-moulding
  • Hygienic design.

  • For gums, jellies and mallow – filled and un-filled
  • Complete stainless steel build
  • Intermittent Guided Pusher System – controlled tray guiding
  • No chains, no chain stretch, no more product/starch in chain. Fewer interfaces, fewer tray jams, fewer drives
  • Decentralization of electrical components for FAST START-UP on site
  • For standard (800 x 400) and JUMBO tray sizes
  • Throughput: up to 32 standard trays/minute, 3 tons/hour
  • Deposited weight tolerance – 1.5% across the tray
  • Buffer tank for starch with dosing wheels to loosen-up the starch and stabilize starch density. Drum cleaning for the starch with extractable sieves with air knives
  • With tray edge cleaning and vacuum table for excess starch
  • Non-regimented de-moulding.
